You will study toward a full engineering apprenticeship by completing all external assessments.

Submission of assignments, undergoing observation by qualified personnel, and creating a portfolio of evidence for the qualification.

Work in the field with qualified service engineers to gain valuable on-the-job experience.

Perform servicing and maintenance on customer machines, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
-
Order spare parts for service orders, collaborating with internal teams.
-
Perform related responsibilities or ad-hoc tasks as and when it is required.

National Vocational Qualification Level 3 (NVQ) in Compressed Air and Vacuum

Vocationally achieved – an opportunity for you to demonstrate competence in a working environment

Different transferable skills, relevant to an everyday working environment, including: Communication, Numeracy, IT Skills, Working with others.

Knowledge gained from our in-house technical support and field service teams, both mechanical and electrical competencies.

Time spent with our commercial departments to help you gain knowledge of the financial aspects of an engineering business.

You will report to Engineer Team Leader.

You will be assigned a skilled mentor from day one, dedicated to providing quality on-the-job training.

We will provide you with a company laptop and mobile phone to keep you connected out in the field.

You will also have a company van, which you can use for personal use (personal fuel is not paid for).

We provide full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) because your safety is our priority.

Ongoing support – Regular contact with your team through monthly 'Toolbox' meetings, plus a dedicated Senior FSE within your business entity.

Have at least 5 GCSE, grades 9-4 including English, Maths, and Science.

An interest and basic knowledge of engineering or mechanical processes.

Be willing to study away from home for periods over the 3 years.

Have a clean full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 1 year).

Have good computer literacy skills, including a working knowledge of Word & Excel

Be a strong communicator with the ability to express ideas and receive and exchange information clearly.

Be customer-focused with the ability to maintain a good level of customer satisfaction and take action when needed to meet the expectations of the customer.

Can showcase critical thinking, and the ability to identify alternatives to current thinking, to develop and implement innovative solutions to problems.

Be committed, and hardworking, willing to invest in their future with this great opportunity.

Due to ongoing success within our service division, MultiAir UK & Ireland (part of the Atlas Copco Group) are now looking to further strengthen our field engineering team with an apprentice. If you are looking to start your engineering career working with a market leader whilst studying towards an NVQ Level 3, we're looking for you!
