  Job Description

  To expand our company we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Field Service Engineer (M/W/D) for our LIFE CYCLE SERVICES department.

  You will be based in Dusseldorf, Germany and report to the Field Service Team Lead.

  Your Responsibilities:

  • Technical field service for Rockwell Automation and 3rd party products.
  • Develop and implement new technologies to increase plant productivity.
  • Work individually on small project and work in a team on big projects. On-site and Off-site.
  • Support presales tasks.
  • Consult and present technical solutions to customers.
  • Share knowledge with our customers.
  • Build good customer relationships.
  • Promote all Rockwell Automation "Life Cycle Service" products and services.

  The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Degree in automation technology, information technology, electrical engineering or similar.
  • Affinity for IT technologies and IT networks.
  • 1+ years of experience in programming and commissioning of industrial automation solutions.
  • Proficiency in English and German.

  The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation software and our products.
  • You work independently

  Field Support Engineer (M/W/D)

  Ihre Hauptaufgaben:

  • Technischer Field Service von Rockwell Automation sowie 3rd Party Produkten
  • Support bei individuellen Kundenanforderungen
  • Implementierung von neuen Softwarelösungen, um die Anlagenproduktivität zu steigern.
  • Unterstützung bei Presales Aufgaben und Beratung, bei der Erstellung von technischen Angeboten und bei der Vorbereitung und / oder Präsentation von technischen Lösungen beim Kunden
  • Weitergabe von Wissen an unsere Kunden durch Kundenschulungen
  • Aufbau und Pflege guter Kundenbeziehungen während und nach Serviceeinsätzen
  • Kontinuierliches Promoten aller Rockwell Automation Lifecycle Service Dienstleistungen und Produkte
  • Weltweite Reisen mit dem Fokus auf der DACH-Region, um unsere Kunden vor Ort zu unterstützen

  Ihr Profil:

  • Studienabschluss in Automatisierungstechnik, Informationstechnik, Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar
  • Erfahrung in ähnlicher Position und mit der Programmierung, Inbetriebnahme und Auslegung von Automatisierungsprodukten und IT-Systemen
  • Erfahrungen im Bereich Netzwerktechnik, Microsoft Domin und Server Applikationen in einer Produktionsumgebung sind von Vorteil
  • Freude an der Entwicklung und Umsetzung neuer Technologien
  • Affinität zu Produktionsabläufen mit ersten Erfahrungen der Produktpalette und Anwendungen der industriellen Automatisierung in Verbindung mit Softwarelösungen und IT-Systemen sind wünschenswert
  • Erfahrung mit Rockwell Automation Software und unseren Produkten ist von Vorteil
  • Sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten und eine selbständige and proaktive Arbeitsweise
  • Kommunikationsfähig und teamorientiert
  • Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, jede weitere Sprache ist von Vorteil
