Job Description

- Provide technical support and advice to field sites. Prepare and maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods and documentation.
for the installation teams at the job site. - Proactively anticipate risks and chances and raise them to the Project Team. Maintain of the Field Service time schedule and coordinate dates with Project Team and
customer. - Prepare specifications, technical procedures and work descriptions for installation subcontractors and evaluation of installation bids/offers.
- Facilitate clarifications with customer.
- Participate in design review meetings and ensure field related design considerations.
- Ensure availability of HSE, quality plans and documents.
- Develop and ensure availability of project specific procedures and safety assessments.
- Determine site layouts, tooling/fixtures and site infrastructure requirements.
- Monitor target achievement regarding quality, schedule, costs and supports corrective actions.
- Facilitate identification and allocation of required internal and external resources.
- Coordination and teamwork between site and back-office.
- University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience and technical understanding of Turbines, Generators and balance of plant equipment. Project management, sub-supplier handling and scheduling experience.
- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, schedules and budgets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fully computer literate MS office suite, as well as SAP and Primavera P6 knowledge.
- Competencies in AutoCad, Solid edge software or equivalent are desirable.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English; due to the international team set-up additional languages are beneficial.
- Team player with strong leadership and project management skills.
- Willing to stay in Australia for the project execution time (approx. 4-5 years).
