      Location/Division Specific Information

      The ideal candidate will reside in or around California's San Francisco Bay Area.

      Remote – goes directly to customer sites 2-3 customer visits a day. Typical business hours.

      Discover Impactful Work:

      Field Service Engineers (FSEs) are "remote" colleagues since they commute daily to customer sites to provide service. FSEs are provided with a Company (Fleet) vehicle to allow for daily travel to multiple customer locations in their defined service area. Overnight travel of approximately 10% is required to service customers and participate in training programs.

      You will handle various aspects of field service support and customer relationships within our Laboratory Equipment (LE) division. You will provide sophisticated services on laboratory equipment, including the following:

      A day in the Life:

      • Repair, install, and maintain various laboratory equipment products, including temperature monitoring, incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and cryogenic storage.
      • Work directly with customers to schedule visits, address their concerns, and provide reassurance while resolving their problems.
      • Completing learning assignments on time, reading procedures, submitting expense reports, and maintaining spare part inventory.

      Keys to Success:

      Education:

      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Helpful to have a certification, associate's, or bachelor's in HVAC, electronics, or engineering.

      Experience:

      • 3+ years of proven experience repairing electrical, mechanical, medical, refrigeration, or laboratory equipment is required.
      • Must be knowledgeable in the use of tools such as digital multimeters, thermometers, hand, and power tools.
      • 1+ year of customer-facing experience is required.
      • Valid Drivers License
      • Safe Driving Record

      Compensation and Benefits

      The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $34.61–$51.92.
