Job Description

- Provide turnkey support for start-up, IQ, OQ, and PQ, on new machine installations; Maintain necessary machine configuration documentation during installation.
- Support machine functionality by updating and modifying control software at customer sites, coordinating development activities for system upgrades, and training customers on equipment use and maintenance.
- Work in a cleanroom environment, fully gowned. Work in tight quarters; on top and underneath equipment standing, stooping, kneeling and bending continuously (approx. 66% of the time).
- Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice. Travel extensively in North America as well as worldwide, when needed. Approximately 75% travel required. Many customers are located in the Northeast, must be driving distance to PA, NY, NJ.
- Engage in ongoing training to maintain technical expertise on new and existing systems, while providing responsive support to customers, Customer Service, and Sales teams as needed
- Process detailed expense and trip reports on all service visits, in a timely fashion.
- Must have a 2-year technical degree OR 5+ years overall experience in the Packaging Industry.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Maintain a flexible schedule allowing for travel on short notice. Travel extensively in North America as well as worldwide, when needed. Approximately 75% travel is required.
- Strong customer service focus on the ability to assure customer confidence in the operation of equipment.
- Submit to safety, background, and drug/alcohol testing as required by customer(s).
- Must be driving distance to customers located in PA, NY, and NJ and hold a valid Driver's license
- BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of capital equipment is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining control systems—including servo drives, HMIs, and programmable controllers—with proficiency in operating controls and supporting various software platforms for complete packaging lines.
- Experience with cGMP and GAMP requirements in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- Bilingual (German, Spanish)
- Demonstrated advanced mechanical, electrical and software skills. systems of equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, PLC, PMAC, etc.)

Job Description
Responsible for installation, testing, analyzing, maintaining, repairing and training on Syntegon products at customer sites. Provide customers with excellent technical customer service and ensure complete satisfaction. This position has a direct and significant impact on maintaining our customer base as well as growing new business for Syntegon.

Additional Information
The expected compensation range for this non-exempt position is between $75,000 to $95,000 per year based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
