      nVent Thermal Management is the global leader in providing turnkey heat management solutions through our RAYCHEM and TRACER brands.

      You will support our TRACER Life Cycle Services which include our next generation RAYCHEM and ELEXANT portfolio of IIoT controls and monitoring solutions.

      WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

      • Sales Support and Quoting IIoT Field Activities in all nVent Thermal Markets
      • Execution of IIoT Field/Remote Activities
      • Creation of new IIoT Testing Tools, Testing Procedures, and Installation Work Instructions
      • Feedback Loop for IIoT Product Development Team
      • Ability to support IIoT software pilots / early adopter programs actively collaborating with nVent product teams and customer stakeholders
      • Represent nVent in Control and Monitoring design discussions with clients and sub-contractors
      • Organizing interested parties to resolve warranty cases as required.
      • Ability to facilitate technical trainings on advanced control and monitoring solutions/software
      • Ensuring that installation instructions are being adhered to by installers
      • Participate in and carry out internal technical trainings.
      • Provide customer and sales support of software based and connected control product solutions.
      • Troubleshoot and optimize IIoT based controls products in the field and remotely using Assisted Reality headset.

      YOU HAVE:

      • Experience in industrial instrumentation, electric heat tracing or industrial site electronics troubleshooting
      • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Knowledge of power distribution, electrical controls (mechanical & electronics) instrumentation, and technical prints
      • Experience with diagnosing and resolving product and installation issues.
      • Experience with deploying and troubleshooting software -based products operating in an industrial and/or commercial environment.
      • Involved in development, configuring, or troubleshooting of IIoT based controls or instrumentation products.
      • Proficient with hand tools like wrenches, handsaws, cable strippers, torches, and power tools
      • Proficient with iOS/Android tablet driven software packages and MS desktop hardware and software packages.
      • The ability to work in various field work environments including but not limited to outdoors during winter & summer, at heights, industrial plants, airports, hotels, etc.
      • North American travel up to 50%
