- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing on-site support and technical expertise to Lutron clients, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the system lifecycle.
- Master the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of all Lutron Commercial Systems, adhering to established field service protocols and best practices.
- Coordinate and manage site visits with contractors, facility managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient system installation and integration.
- Operate independently across diverse commercial job sites, adapting to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities with professionalism and agility.
- Support the full lifecycle of Lutron products, including diagnostics, repairs, user training, and system upgrades to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a subject matter expert for legacy systems and products, providing knowledgeable support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and support teams to enhance service delivery, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in customer experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 5+ years of combined work/college/trade school experience with an emphasis on electro-mechanical or related field experience required
- Proficiency in computer operation skills including file management, Outlook/Teams and other interpersonal communications software, web navigation, and Microsoft-based productivity software required; Computer networking experience preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems required
- Proven customer service skills including the ability to professionally interface while working on a jobsite with a wide range of customers (contractors, specifiers, etc) required
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screens, as required per jobsite
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

As a Field Services Specialist, you will be the face of Lutron at customer sites, ensuring our advanced lighting and shading systems are expertly commissioned and maintained. You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and support, helping clients optimize their total light environment from initial setup through ongoing performance enhancements.
Responsibilities
