What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems
- Perform maintenance, testing, and repair on transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear
- Test and inspect low and medium voltage cable installations
- Provide start-up, troubleshooting, and repair services on generator controls
- Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with regulatory laws
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma/GED and minimum 1 year of related experience or pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA
- Ability to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures
- Strong theoretical understanding of electricity and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with MCC's, Breakers, relay testing, oil testing, and infrared scanning
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
