      About This Position

      As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting long-term state and county contracts by installing and maintaining custom-configured network devices at correctional facilities. This position requires frequent travel within your assigned territory and hands-on work with inmate phone systems and related technology.

      **Requires between 50-75% travel to correctional facilities**

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Travel regularly to correctional facilities within your assigned region.

      • Conduct walk-throughs at each site to assess system needs and identify issues.

      • Install, repair, and replace network equipment, including inmate phone systems and related components.

      • Assemble and configure network hardware as part of new site installations.

      • Perform advanced diagnostics to troubleshoot T-1, analog, and other network issues.

      • Maintain strong working relationships with facility personnel.

      • Document service calls, repairs, and installations accurately and thoroughly.

      • Respond to service needs promptly and professionally.

      • Adapt to changing business needs and support additional tasks as assigned.


      What You'll Need

      • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school, or 6+ months of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

      • Working knowledge of T-1 and analog circuit repair

      • Strong grasp of networking disciplines and the ability to perform detailed diagnostics

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      • Ability to build rapport and work effectively with facility staff

      • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

      • Strong team player with a professional attitude
