    • Primary Job Functions: Support hardware and software needs of Avon Community School Corporation’s staff and students. This position is headquartered in the Corporation Technology Office with the field technician team and is responsible for resolution of reported technology workorders submitted by schools and departments.

      Minimum Qualifications and Credentials Required:

      Educational Requirements:
      Technical training beyond a high school diploma.

      Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

      Experience:
      Job experience with maintenance of computers, peripherals, networks, basic audio visual equipment, installation/configuration of software and telecommunications.

      Certification: None required.

      Essential Functions:

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
