Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years related experience, required
1-2 years Dutch Bros leadership experience preferred
Experience in Dutch Bros stand operations preferred
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and is required to be in office 4 days a week
Work with leadership to determine pain points from the field, project priorities, and gain approval of solutions to field technology systems
Work with other DBHQ Business Units to ensure all Field technologies are effectively supported
Cross-reference with other DBHQ Business Units to ensure processes are aligned for field employees
Write policies, SOPs, work instructions, and create forms, as needed
Troubleshoot and determine the root cause of technological process problems or failures by observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Work with Standards leaders to ensure documentation is accurate as solutions are proven (prior to full implementation)
Support the Field Technology Manager in creating technology roadmaps for Field systems
Drive improvements to the user experience for field employees
Aid the IT team in escalated Field support for technology issues. This will include being on call to support issues as they arise
Work with the Field Communications team to create communication plans for Field Technology updates
Communicate with and create assets for the Field Learning team to ensure training is prepared, as needed
Support the Field Technology Manager in creating appropriate implementation timelines, reflective of urgency and impact
Monitor the effectiveness of solutions, post-implementation, to determine the success
Support the Field Technology Manager in Training Field Ops Area VPs, Business Coaches, and Operators on proven technology solutions
Provide operational knowledge to various HQ teams on how the Field will leverage technology with a primary focus on the Broista and customer experience
Maintain a strong understanding of field technologies which include but is not limited to: Point of Sale, Scheduling Software, and the HRIS.

Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Field Technology Specialist is to improve operational effectiveness through Technology and provide support to both Field and IT leaders to resolve Field related issues. This may be through upgraded processes, tools, equipment, or training. The person filling this role will work with cross-departmental stakeholders to test, validate, and implement technological solutions that protect and improve the Broista and customer experience. This person will also be responsible for ensuring our system documentation is up to date as solutions are found, overseeing the implementation of proven solutions, and monitoring effectiveness.
