      Position Overview

      As the Manager of the Field Training team at Dutch Bros, you will support Training Specialists, Instructional Designers and other staff to create engaging educational content and curricula that results in pathways for growth through shop positions all the way up to field facing HQ roles. Developed educational material and learning pathways will provide online learning opportunities, enable in-person training and development for employees and leaders, and support our people in designing their lives, spreading positivity, and living their dreams!

      Location Requirement

      This position is required to be in Phoenix, Arizona and required 4 days/week in office.

      Key Result Areas

      Oversee the Field Training programs, ensuring that they’re effective and efficient:

      • Support teams in developing curriculum that supports growth from Broista - Business Coach and results in clear learning pathways.

      • Coordinate learning and development strategies for their content, find synergy across their messages to reduce cognitive load on employee learners while driving for a balance of efficient and effective learning.

      • Coordinate program strategy; aligning educational programs and curriculum with the company business plan and the needs of the field.

      • Work with multiple teams to review data and project outcomes to determine if content and evaluations are meeting the needs of these teams and their outcomes.

      • Ensure current trends and improved methodology is incorporated into current processes to retain relevance, pushing the boundaries of new learning theories, technologies, and hybrid training to ensure field learning pathways stay cutting-edge in the learning and development space.

      • Use data from the LMS and other areas to guide the company in informed decision-making around field learning and development pathways it relates to the larger change management system.

      • Rely on experiences in the field and feedback loops to inform on effects of field training programs to inform improvements.

      • Lead Training Specialists as they develop training pathways for maintenance and MOB hires.

      Provide guidance and supervision to the Field Training direct staff to execute the team’s role in the business, and support each individual to execute on their KRAs and growth opportunities:

      • Lead, grow, and mentor the Field Training team, building an environment of teamwork, trust, and mutual success. This should include regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development opportunities.

      • Support the management of the budget and resourcing responsibilities while communicating needs and results to executives and other managers.

      • Guide learning teams in creating consistent education materials.

      • Support Field Services leadership in content planning and development of learning curriculum to achieve annual goals.

      • Maintain replicable change management systems for all field learning content.

      • Monitor content in a given area or curriculum package for a consistent voice and level appropriate for the audience.

      • Support implementation of adjustments to creative content to ensure engaging learning activities and well-organized operational and cultural lessons

      • Ensure curriculum packages are reviewed for consistency with Brand Guidelines and educational outcomes

      Job Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience, required.

      • 3 years of additional experience in a related field, required.

      • Experience leading teams, preferred.

      • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with instructional design work focussed on hybrid, workforce, or experiential learning formats and learning theories.

      • Experience working with enterprise LMS systems and creating interactive or gamified training methods for the classroom, business, or online formats.

      • Experience working with information technologies and or analytics.

      • Experience working with RFIs, third-party vendors, and integrating internally created products with externally purchased content.

      • Proficiency working with LMS systems, and other instructional design tools.

      • Knowledge of the Dutch Bros Culture and a passion for teaching and education.

      Physical Requirements

      • Mobility and Physical Tasks: Ability to occasionally move or lift items up to 25 pounds, such as files or equipment, which may be necessary while working in various office environments or while traveling. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while traveling. Must be able to stand, stretch, twist, and reach.

      • Travel and Office Environment Adaptability: Must be able to work effectively in diverse environments including various offices and hotel rooms and adapt to different settings while traveling, including driving or flying.

      • Effective Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms to perform job duties, including during travel or remote work situations.

      • Vision Requirements: Vision must be good or correctable to ensure the ability to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents, navigating travel routes, and utilizing office technology.

      • Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be good or correctable to facilitate understanding of spoken information and effective communication, both in office settings and during travel.

      • Reading and Writing: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing paperwork, documenting travel-related activities, and following up on necessary actions.

      • Technology Proficiency: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculators, copy machines) to perform job functions effectively, including while traveling.

      • Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office or remote communication tools.

      Compensation:

      $107,655.14 - DOE
