Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years equivalent experience, required
Experience with Dutch Bros training programs required
1 year of leadership experience required
MOB experience, preferred
Exceptional communication and organizational skills - written and verbal
Willingness to travel
Identify training needs and propose solutions for Broistas, MOB, Shift Leads, Managers, Assistant Managers, Regional Managers, and New Operators
Collaborate with Field teams to identify job duties and levels of leadership skill sets required for each field position
Facilitate spot training as needed to upskill up training crews throughout the field
Work with the MOB team to help develop and align Dutch Bros training methodologies and best practices for teaching and learning
Partner with the Learning & Development teams to update training materials and programs
Observe training in the field through shop visits, often in collaboration with Optimization and Field Ops teams
Continually evaluate training initiatives- tools, implementation, identifying gaps, and areas for the continued growth of training practices
Advise the Field Learning Manager on adjustments needed to improve training
Monitor and collect quantitative and qualitative data on training effectiveness
Devise and implement solutions for discrepancies in training practices between operations, franchises, and regions
Collaborate with the Field Learning team, Learning & Development, and applicable Field teams (Field Marketing, Optimization, Standards, Field Ops) to identify, envision, and develop new areas for training
Ensure alignment of training decisions at HQ with practices of leaders, trainers, and employees in the field
Regularly attend documentation and change meetings
Collaborate with Instructional Designers on the content needed in instructional materials while serving as a Subject Matter Expert
Coordinate with the Manager of Field Learning to ensure DBU courses are updated
Maintain accurate knowledge of operational procedures and note where changes are needed to ensure alignment in our documentation and training resources.

Position Overview
The Field Training team serves as a critical player in the Field Operations System. We provide tools, education, and training for all positional levels of Dutch Bros operations. The Field Training Specialist will work cross-functionally with necessary teams to develop our organizational field training strategy, ensure that training created in DBU is successfully up to date and implemented in the field at every level, train field trainers in successful methodologies and practices, and collaborate with field leaders to monitor and assess training outcomes.
