Job Description
- Req#: JR101632
- Action requests for the retrieval of microfilmed files and for paper files.
- Prepare documents for scanning, scan paper file copies into our electronic claims database.
- Locate claim files, update tracking systems and distribute files using various computer programs including MS Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Lotus Notes, and RecFind.
- Assist in the storage of electronic media.
- A high school diploma and experience related to data verification and processing (data entry).
- Previous experience in customer service and in an office setting.
- Records management courses are considered an asset.
- Computer skills including MS Excel, Word and Adobe are essential with accurate alphanumeric keyboarding.
- Experience converting microfilm/historical documents into digitized or electronic form is an asset.
- Reliability, time management, willingness to take initiative, customer service and teamwork are integral to success in this position.

Salary: The salary for this position is $43,022.19 per annum.
This is a temporary, full-time position for approximately 1 year with the possibility of extension or permanency. Final candidates for this position will be required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Please note, this position is based in the Edmonton office and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office.
