- Assist with print loan request inquiries
- Assist in the development of workflows and documentation related to the Archive?s loan program
- Update loans management system to include current venue information
- Implement file naming conventions for historic loan paperwork
- Assist with digitization and organization of the Academy Film Archive?s loan files
- Perform complex research in Axiell Collections database
- Attend bi-weekly loans meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Summary:
The Academy Film Archive is seeking an organized, enthusiastic intern to assist the Public Access department with the Archive?s exhibition print loans program. Supervised by the Senior Specialist, Public Access, the intern will help develop workflows and documentation related to loan requests from film programmers and cinematheques from around the world and manage the digitization and organization of the Academy Film Archive?s exhibition loan files. This position offers the opportunity to learn the functional and operational aspects of access-based policies for a film archive.

This is a limited term internship position beginning in June 2024 through August 2024. The hourly wage for this role is $16.78.
