      A vacancy has arisen for our NextGen programme within our Financial Controlling area.
      The Finance NextGen Programme is an Airbus Defence & Space-wide development programme. This programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders for the Airbus Finance Community who will contribute significantly towards achieving our business goals. The Finance NextGen Programme - sponsored by Airbus Defence & Space' CFO - enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in management and supervision competencies .
      This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries. Each assignment lasts for a period of two years. They are combined with off-the-job modules, designed to strengthen participant’s management and financial competencies .
      We are a transnational organization with substantial footprints in all four founding countries and beyond; we are directly impacting the full spectrum of Defence and Space business.
      Employing over 1000 professionals worldwide, Finance in Airbus Defence and Space offers opportunities to expand on experiences and grow within a dynamic organization. Whether it be within e.g. accounting, controlling, costing, risk management or treasury, the Finance team uses collective intelligence and maximizes synergies to continuously improve and deliver results.
      HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
      • Driving financial performance of the business through investigation and reporting
      • Coordinate the preparation of monthly Management Accounts, gaining full experience of balance sheet, Profit and Loss (P&L) and cash flow accounting with Financial Performance analysis to Senior Management ;
      • Providing information for Annual Audits – both internal and external
      This role also contributes to preparing the future of Finance in our company while taking part in the modernization of our Finance processes and systems.

      ABOUT YOU
      • First Class or 2.1 Degree and Newly Qualified ACA or ACMA
      • Excellent financial skills and the ability to persuade, influence, collaborate and convince
      • Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
      • Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, collaborate across functions, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
      • Ability to work without supervision when needed, to deadlines and with a pro- active desire to improve efficiencies, processes & working practices
