      Pembroke Road Surgery is a large NHS GP Practice based in Clifton, Bristol. We care 20,000 patients with wide ranging needs within our local area.

      Main duties of the job

      As our Finance Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of the practice. Working closely with the Practice Manager and clinical leadership, youll handle a range of finance duties, from processing invoices and payroll support to reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.

      Essential

      • 1) Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role.
      • 2) Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial record keeping.
      • 3) Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting software.
      • 4) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
      • 5) Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.

      Desirable

      • 1) Experience working in a healthcare or GP practice environment.
      • 2) Familiarity with NHS finance processes and funding streams.
      • 3) Understanding of payroll and pension procedures.
