- Material Cost Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze material costs, with a specific focus on PPV and VAVE initiatives.
- Track, monitor, and report variances between actual and planned material costs.
- Develop and present clear, actionable financial reports and dashboards that supports the track of the cost-saving.
- Develop regular reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Driving Actions on PPV (Purchase Price Variance):
- Partner with sourcing teams to forecast PPV impacts.
- Ensure alignment of PPV analysis with monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Monitor and enforce accountability for PPV performance through regular reviews and action plans with relevant teams.
- Driving Actions on VAVE (Value Analysis/ Value Engineering):
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product delivery and operations teams to prioritize VAVE actions on cost savings and financial impacts of VAVE initiatives.
- Drive tracking of VAVE initiatives, ensuring the alignment with strategic objectives
- Support decision-making by providing real-time financial data and what-if scenario analyses.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to VAVE initiatives in the financial plans.
- Business Partnering & Collaboration
- Influence and guide other departments to take proactive actions that align with PPV and VAVE targets.
- Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to resolve issues, align priorities, and execute the initiatives effectively and timely.
- Process Improvement
- Drive process improvements in material cost analysis and reporting tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, material cost or cost engineering within the automotive or manufacturing sector.

- Strong understanding of financial modeling, cost analysis, PPV and VAVE principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and costing tools.
- Knowledge of automotive industry metrics such as BOM analysis, PPM, OEE, and material costs.

Mission of the Role: We are looking for a versatile and analytical professional to join our team as a Finance Business Partner specializing in material cost analysis to play a critical role in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making within the Regional FP&A department. Your primary focus will be on Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to proactively drive actions that aligns the business goals on cost efficiency. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve reporting, analyze financial data, and drive actions to cost-saving opportunities.
