      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Run ad hoc data queries to analyze financial data and develop reports for distribution
      - Analyze budget-to-actual variances, including revenue and payroll transactions
      - Assist in the procurement process by submitting requisitions and monitoring purchase orders
      - Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, reconciling accounts and analyzing transactions
      - Assist with the preparation of annual departmental/divisional budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
      - Prior experience in an Academic Health Center or relevant financial setting
      - Proficient with PC, including database and spreadsheet applications
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with internal and external customers

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced or specialized finance degree preferred
      - At least one year of experience with Oracle AIS
      - At least one year of experience with IBM Cognos or TM1
      - At least one year of experience with Smartsheet
      - Experience using related accounting or financial software
