Job Summary We are seeking entrepreneurial and creative individuals to help build an in-house advertising and communications function for our Xfinity products and services. The in-house agency will be primarily based in New York City. This group will produce creative content for all channels including TV, digital, social, radio, in-store, print as well as extensive video production for various on-line and in-house needs. As the Finance & Operations Analyst, you will support the Manager, Finance and Operations in tracking agency-wide production expenses, conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to gauge the overall financial health of the agency, and assist in developing executive presentations. Job Description Most Days You: Coordinate with our internal production department to gather production estimates for vendor payment. Submit purchase order requests using information gathered from the production team and ensure that requests are processed and approved in a timely manner. Work directly with vendors to resolve any issues around estimate/invoice discrepancies, questions about payment timing, and vendor questions about Comcast’s invoicing system. Track agency production costs and work with the production team and finance partners to reconcile actual spend. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis in areas such as the agency’s contractor budget, monthly rate card reconciliations and overall OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Develop insights into varying aspects of the agency’s financial health to incorporate into executive reporting. Monitor Projects for finance and operational goals, report back on financial health. Assist in creating decks for monthly and quarterly executive presentations. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline Strong quantitative analysis abilities Exceptionally organized and process oriented Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – comfortable working with pivot tables and charts Experience building presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication abilities with internal and external partners Financial modeling skills a bonus Project Finance and Adobe Workfront a plus Experience or familiarity with media production or ad agencies a bonus The Ideal Match: Enjoys working with numbers day in and day out. Relevant Work Experience 2-5 Years Salary: Pay Range: $62,835.44 - $94,253.16 Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
