Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. The Trust's vision is to provide excellent care to the communities we serve and our Finance Team plays an integral part in supporting the Trust to achieve this.
The post holder will join a professional and friendly team that is committed to providing the best support to the Trusts departments with the ability to react and respond to issues that arise both quickly and confidently. A strong interest in developing staff and building highly functional teams is essential.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will assist the teams in various duties including payments to suppliers, raising invoices, answering budget manager queries, reconciling control accounts and analysing data. This practical experience across a wide range of financial services will provide an excellent foundation for a career in finance and the NHS.
About us
The role is based within the financial management in SaTH, the team supports the five divisions with daily financial information, support and partnering to clinical and operational colleagues. The team prepare financial reports monthly, we lead on budget setting and forecasting, whilst supporting the efficiency delivery and the annual financial planning. Every day is provides exciting opportunities to develop and learn, you will be part of a supportive and dynamic team with finance.
