- Assist with all claim submission and posting of payments of PPA/PDA, research and resolve claim denials from both in-network and out-of-network insurance companies, help to oversee that insurance A/R is in current standing, and be point of contact for all patient insurance inquiries. - Assist with generation of collection letters for patients with outstanding balances and work with Clinic Finance Manager on submission of patient balances to Allied. Assist with setting up payroll deduction for payment plan patients.
- Responsible for the gathering of all credentialing requirements for all provider network relations and assist with any follow-up required by various insurance companies and adhere all time sensitive deadlines
- Process invoices from multiple vendors and track spending to ensure proper PO balances are inline to not exceed budget
- Work as a back-up to front desk and assist in logging into phone system when needed, and assist with other admin tasks such as, but not limited too, scheduling meetings, minute taking, mail assortment, magazine renewals, office supply ordering
The Finance Assistant will primarily assist the Clinic Finance Manager with all insurance operations such as submission of claims, posting payment, claim research and insurance verification. They will also assist other finance related operations of the office when needed such as process and payment of invoices, benefit accrual tracking, and collections policy.
