      Mission and Main Objectives:

      Reporting to a senior controller, the successful applicant will be involved in the preparation of consolidated regional cost performance reporting and providing a business partnering/management accounting support to the SCM function.

      This opportunity gives real breadth of scope and a chance to deeply understand the cost performance of Nissan’s regional operations. An ability to work effectively with colleagues is essential for this role – as is a structured approach to transforming significant amounts of data into clear, cohesive analysis. It is therefore equally suitable for a skilled management accountant; or for someone in practice looking to progress their career with an industry leader.

      Outline and Responsibilities:

      • Accurate preparation of consolidated regional cost performance reports to meet deadlines;
      • Provide analysis and explanation of key variances and reconciliation to other prime reports
      • Reporting Scope is Manufacturing, Purchasing, Capex and Supply Chain Management (SCM), with particular business partnering scope for SCM.
      • Reporting of Inbound and Outbound Logistics Costs, forecasts, MTP, Business Plan
      • Work with Supply Chain Management and other functions to report in accordance with Nissan Global Headquarters requests, accounting standards and group policies
      • Month end close procedures for Logistics
      • Supporting in preparation of consolidated management reporting for actuals, forecasts, outlooks, business plan and YoY reporting
      • Provide support to further Projects as required
      • Any other duties/roles as directed by Management

      Experience and Qualifications Required:

      • Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
      • Ability to present data in a clear and structured manner
      • Positive and flexible attitude in supporting the team in achieving tight deadlines
      • Challenging and flexible mindset. Strive for continuous improvement
      • Strong spreadsheet (Excel) skills. Database / Powerpoint / SAP advantageous
      • Confident communicator; comfortable in dealing with colleagues based across Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania (no language requirements).
