- Provide business/finance analysis and reporting, support & advice to leadership team
- Present business guidance and financial results to executive management
- Support preparation and delivery of new product development, continuous product line budgets and forecasts
- Propose business models on how to transact on complex orders
- Participate in product costing discussions and provide input
- Review CAPEX requests and justifications
- Participate in underground hard rock business and product line strategic planning and actions (acquisitions, cost reduction, continuous improvement and growth intiatives)
- Support general financial processing and reporting requirements through corporate processes.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting/Finance
- CPA or equivalent professional designation
- Minimum of 10 year's of experience in financial planning, consolidations, reporting and analysis
- Experience leading a team of finance professionals in business consultation and accounting requirements
- Understands and can apply North American Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience providing business consultation based on financial forecasting and results with global consolidation
- Excellent interpersonal, influence, organization, written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic planning experience
- Strong problem-solving and indirect leadership skills
- Extensive skills using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Background with SAP/BPC software is preferred
- Experience in industrial manufacturing is required, OEM experience considered an asset
- Previous experience working a global matrix organization in a broad team an asset
- Must be eligible to travel globally to customer and Komatsu facilities
- Must have valid citizenship or work visa qualification to work in the United States or Canada.

Job Overview
The Finance Director, Hard Rock is considered a strategic business partner to the Sr. Vice President, Underground Hard Rock and the underground hard rock global business team. The position incumbent will be an indirect leader to the hard rock business with indepth knowledge of financial processes and analysis, providing guidance on business strategies and actions through a developed understanding of the global mining market and our mining customers businesses as well as our OEM operating models. Position to be located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. or Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
