      Toll Brothers, America’s leading builder of luxury homes seeks a Finance Director for our office located in Pleasanton, California.

      What is the opportunity?

      The Regional Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all financial planning and analysis functions for multiple divisions and serves as a key partner to division leadership.

      What are the primary responsibilities?

      • Guides all financial functions within the designated Division
      • Business Plan creation, quarterly updates, and semi-annual re-forecast for presentation to Management
      • Analyze key company metrics of ROA, Gross Margin, SG&A, and Operating Margin
      • Participate in regular monthly meetings with all stack leads to discuss budget variances and cash flow projections
      • Manage and prepare the quarterly and annual re-forecasting process
      • Review of monthly Division P&L, and variance analysis, holding leadership accountable for results and offering solutions to mitigate risk
      • Partners with operations by supporting and preparing analyses required for operational reviews and land acquisition proformas
      • Provide analytical support to the management team to improve home building operations and to identify opportunities for margin and return on investment improvement in areas such as revenue strategy, community investment structure, and timing and cost reduction
      • Collaborate with Division Presidents and other leadership team members to develop process improvements, and to drive standardized processes in all aspects of operations
      • Help with the coordination of back-office operations, including payroll and commissions, purchasing/architecture, construction coordination, and sales and escrow coordination
      • Perform in both the financial and operational segments of the business, devoting time to field visits
      • All other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      Does this describe you?

      • Possess an understanding of traditional accounting and budgetary principles and terminology
      • Attention to detail to ensure data is accurate and complete
      • Able to manage multiple priorities while focusing on detail orientation and effective time management
      • Experience managing and training a team
      • Proven track record of managing complex processes with diverse groups of stakeholders
      • Experience communicating with senior operational and accounting leaders

      Do you have these qualifications?

      • Essential:
        • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Applied Mathematics is preferred
        • 5-7 years of professional Finance experience
        • Extensive knowledge of accounting and Finance practices, including job costing and strategic planning
        • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
        • Confident working closely with Management and corporate leadership
        • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
      • Preferred:
        • Experience in home building/construction
        • Experience using JD Edwards / E1
        • Experience using EPM Tools including Board, OneStream, and Anaplan

      The salary for this position is $124,000-$165,000 plus an annual discretionary bonus.
