      The entry level accountant provides critical business intelligence for Jasper’s operational teams by providing divisional reporting and ad hoc analysis. The individual would be responsible for preparing standard monthly journal entries, performing variance analysis, and contributing to the forecasting/budgeting process. This role provides strategic information to stakeholders and helps identify areas to drive improvement. Looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a highly collaborative mindset, an ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, rapidly changing atmosphere.

      Having authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and this position does not offer sponsorships for work visas.

      What You Will Need:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, data analytics or similar education
      • 0-2 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting and analysis experience
      • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles related to inventory is a plus
      • Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Knowledge and ability to utilize reporting and data analytics tools such as MS Power BI is a plus
