      FINANCIAL ANALYST INTERNSHIP - PLANO, TX

      We are looking for a student with strong analytical skills to contribute immediately to our finance team in North America. This is a hands-on role that is expected to serve as a Finance Business Partner supporting the different business areas in the regular business course, specific projects, or any ad-hoc requests. The role requires a good understanding of the overall business around the different BRP brands, allowing for meaningful recommendations at the time of planning all wholesale and retail sales incentives.

      YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

      • Contribute as business partner to the Sales & amp; Marketing team, supporting all sales program’s costing initiatives, while providing insightful data to support business decisions.

      • Execute monthly account analysis and reconciliation to secure necessary provisions to support current and future sales programs.

      • Perform monthly P&L variance analysis, followed by story-telling narratives and forward-looking expectations.

      • Participate and contribute with insightful finance related information in regional business meetings.

      • Identity and act on opportunities to automate and improve processes and analytical tools.

      • Partner with other stakeholders such as market planning and sales area to complement the understanding of the business and connect dots to allow more insightful recommendations.

      YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

      • Senior enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Finance program with a 3.0 GPA or higher

      • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis

      • Advanced Excel knowledge required - PowerPivot and Power Query is a plus

      • Must have the following knowledge: Direct margin calculations and percentages, statistics, data analytics, basic accounting knowledge, and profit & loss statement reading.

      • Ability to work at least 24 hours per week.
