- Responsible for both of the unit’s accounting and support the business by providing analysis and advices to managers
- Ensure correct financial accounting for the entities. Provide, validate and make sure that reporting is according to schedules, policies and legislation
- Data validation and correction to ensure a fair and justice result together with the finance teams both in local ERP systems and AARO
- Project and development work; participation to regional, divisional and corporate level development projects.
Take the resposibility and be in charge for the Salary systems and handling - Supporting management team in various questions concerning finance and legal reporting as well as preparing boardmaterial for the local boardmeetings
- Take the lead as the Manager of the finance temas in both NL and UK
- Proactive role in the relation towards other functions within the units in both NL and UK
- Academic degree in finance, and similar work experience in an international environment
- Languages: English. Additional languages are considered as valuable assets

About the position
We would like to welcome you with your application, to the appointment as Finance Manager within SSAB Europe Divisions with the responsibility to manage the finance departments of our Steel Service centres in Netherland (NL) and United Kingdom (UK). These two units in NL and UK has a combined turnover of 38 M€. The units are focusing on tailormade processing of Colour coated material as well as Aluzink.
We have an open approach to the actual location boarding this appointment, but it will be connected to our two Steel Service Centres in NL and UK. Preferred location will then be in Beuningen (NL) or Brierley Hill (UK). The Finance Manager will report to the Head of Sales Business control, who is based at SSAB in Sweden, and in matrix to the Managing Director of the two Steel Service centres, based in UK. You will be heading a finance team of 3 persons.
The main objective is to make sure that the accounting, analysis and forecasting for both of the SSAB units managed by SSE division are done in harmonized way and that the processes are efficient and transparent, as well as supporting local Management in business and process related issues.
The candidate preferably holds great integrity, strong communicative skills, and easiness to pedagogically explain decisions to colleagues with less knowledge in finance, with documented ability to work independently and proactively takes own initiatives when needed. Other valuable characteristics is being structured, stress resistant and service-oriented.
The position involves contacts with a vast number of co-workers, at different levels and departments, both locally as well as in other countries, and therefore your English proficiency is elevated, holding a strong ability to create fruitful relations and ensure efficient team-work.Main responsibilities
