- Revenue Audit Coordinators
- Ensures and enforces company compliance with all local and state regulations including but not limited to: Colorado State Gaming Minimum Internal Control Standards, Colorado State Regulations and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Title 31 Regulations.
- Manages and directs the work of the revenue audit team.
- Reviews records for possible concerns as it relates to our internal controls.
- Works with key departments with internal investigations and partners with them to resolve opportunities.
- Review variance explanations for plausibility and sample employee files for documentation for variances based upon the departmental variance policy.
- Review monthly reports from Corporate Fraud and Control department for potential risk and need for investigation.
- Make recommendations for improving the effectiveness of policies and procedures through operational analysis and critique.
- Maintain a database of prior policy and procedure violations and ensure no repeat violations through observations and interviews.
- Account reconciliations, financial reviews, and inputting capital requests for approval.
- Exercise maturity and flexibility in covering other Finance roles and tasks, and other duties as assigned.
- Preferred BS/BA in a business-related field or comparable work experience.
- Comprehensive operational finance knowledge (org structure, business functions, processes, procedures, objectives, goals, measures, metrics, etc.).
- Viewed as a change leader, role model, and coach by the organization.
- Team leadership experience.
- Preferred: MS Office Suite, computer skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
