- Partner directly with the Director Commercial Solutions APAC, Heads of Category and Category Strategy Teams in the development and execution of the category strategies
- Play a key support in the development and execution of the categories’ strategy ensuring all strategic initiatives are grounded in sound financial criteria
- 10 Year Category Financial Plans – Coordinate the build and management of commercial controllables and factors to project the P&L and its major assumptions over a ten year forecast.
- Partner closely with Channel, Marketing, Revenue Management, Category Development and the wider Finance community to deliver Category and SAPL wide financial projections
- Deliver the year 2 and year 3 category forecast – partnering with FP&A, create the medium term P&L projection for SAPL to support the budget submission
- Partner directly with Category to deliver Commercially Strategic Projects
- Manage and lead the financial support, insight and delivery of capital projects that begin within Category or have a commercial deliverable
- Partner the Head of Commercial Finance and broader FLT to lead the Finance function, developing and role modelling the Finance vision, and driving the overall capability of the function
- Build and develop the finance brand across the wider division and provide thought leadership on matters impacting financial performance
- Key leadership role, build and develop a dynamic team
- Proven experience in a similar role in Category Finance, preferably in a global organisation with cross divisional complexities
- Strong understanding of performance drivers for FMCG business is advantageous
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
- Strong knowledge of business strategy development, business process management, budgeting and business operations
- Ability to influence an outcome holding healthy tension while remaining objective
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders
- Accomplished track record in managing and building a high performing team
- CA / CPA qualified
- Leadership experience

About our Role
An exciting 6-month contract opportunity to join the team as our Finance Manager for Category & Commercial Solutions. In this role you will play a key advisor role to the Director Commercial Solutions APAC, Global and Regional Heads of Category and Category Strategy Teams. You will provide exemplary category financial leadership that enhances the profit shape of all commercial decisions. Within this position, you will also be responsible for delivering financial support and governance of capital projects with commercial impacts, reviewing how the impacts of these investments affect the categories’ profit. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your financial leadership skills within a dynamic FMCG business.
