How you will make contributions that matter:

As the Finance Manager – Costings, you will support the Head of FP&A and Costings in providing interpretative analysis of product costing. You will focus on analysing cost movements, generating standard costs, setting costing principles, conducting annual reviews, assisting in inventory valuations, and partnering with procurement.

In addition, this role will have the responsibility for

• Standardised activity-based costing methodology and disciplines applied to deliver consistency across all sites
• Propose changes to product costing to enhance business performance – includes detailed costing analysis consistent with performance management focus.
• Provide costings for all NPD’s, Performance reporting to the business to illustrate cost movements, and Quarterly BOM updates
• Business Partnering across all sites on production recovery rates and supporting variable and fixed overhead allocation review.
• Prepare standard costs for third-party products, identify cost differences, and collaborate with procurement for accurate product costing.
• Ensure the accuracy of budgeted and new product costings, analyze 3rd party manufacturing, and monitor procurement variances and savings.
• Coordinate and manage the costing budget process and conduct regular reviews of BoM accuracy and waste percentage.

About you:

We’re looking for someone with:

• CPA/CA qualifications with Minimum 7-9 years’ experience in finance manufacturing/commercial roles
• Previous experience in a similar role with a strong focus on costing
• Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives SAP experience essential
• Results-oriented and able to work through ambiguity.
• Strong commercial awareness, advanced Excel skills, and dairy industry knowledge (advantageous).
