      Finance manager Group Finance
      Permanent Employment – Denmark

      As a Finance Manager Group finance you will be part of the Finance markets team and work controlling, budgeting and forecasting as well as with projects for optimization of processes.

Within Cognizant the Digital Business Practice works with Clients across all Industries to help them becoming Digital: transforming their Business, Processes and IT with a constant view on Business impacts.       Key areas of responsibility
      • Create process documentation and transition work from the GL and reporting tower for our clients.
      • Build relationships with the customers as well as the Cognizant account managers & other leaders.
      • Driving continuous development and improvement of reporting templates to enhance efficiency and accuracy Ensure and drive development of routines and ways of working
      • Identify gaps, simplify and standardize the overall processes
      • Month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
      • Controlling of subsidiaries as well as most balance sheet items at Group level.
      • Managing accounting and reconciliation tasks related to IFRS 16 (leasing).
      • Preparation of the Annual Report.
      • Budget/forecast together with other teams.
      • Adoption of new IFRS regulation and ensuring compliance to IFRS.
      • Participating in development of the ESG reporting according to ESRS.
      • Controlling of ESG reporting

      Education
      • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
      Professional competence/experience
      • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting
      • Well-developed skills & understanding of controlling, budgeting and forecasting, including hands-on experience
      • Well-developed skills & understanding of accounting and reporting, including hands-on experience
      • Well-developed understanding in financial processes
      • High analytical competence
      • Experience with ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics AX knowledge is an advantage
      • Strong skills in Microsoft Office package and experienced user in Excel
      • Experience from other large organization and/or SSC is an advantage

      Language
      Business level proficiency in spoken and written English and Danish

      • The position requires travel to Copenhagen
