      The Opportunity

      We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located at Lake Forest, IL.

      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning and reporting consolidation for the Infectious Disease (ID) business unit.

      Responsibilities

      • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four finance professionals.
      • Collaborate with Corporate and Rapid Diagnostics Division finance on planning and reporting requirements, and coordinate these expectations across ID Commercial, Operations, and R&D finance teams.
      • Develop and maintain ID finance systems and planning processes and implement ongoing improvements and standardization.
      • Create appropriate financial metrics that are relevant and insightful to ID leadership.
      • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for the ID organization.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
      • Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting
      • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading people
      • Excellent communication and analytical skills
      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing deadlines.
      • Sharp attention to detail
      • Proactive problem solver with a knack for streamlining processes.
      • Comfortable with complexity and change
      • High level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; Power ON skills a plus

      $109,300.00 – $218,700.00
