As Finance Manager, Pfizer CentreOne, you will have a unique opportunity to steward the organization to meet its strategic goals and drive the financial performance of the Value portfolio representing ~60% of total PC1 Revenues. You will provide financial leadership, business consultation, thought partnership and analytical support through regular direct interactions with partners across Pfizer CentreOne and PGS External Supply. Key attributes for success include superior financial/analytical skills, a demonstrated ability to work proactively, successfully manage complexity, and to think strategically, all which will further enable you to advise, support and problem solve with senior partners.
The role reports to the Finance Lead, Pfizer CentreOne, and is part of the R&D and BI Finance Organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Full P&L control for the business segment, responsible for ensuring data quality in reported actuals, compliance with revenue recognition rules and other Pfizer policies and internal controls. Hands-on management of the monthly Domestic and International close entries, results, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Leading Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, to drive delivery of goals and responsiveness to gaps and changes, risks and opportunities, in a dynamic business environment. In other words, understand the business, analyze the financials and proactively provide recommendations to manage the P&L more effectively.
Deep understanding and stewardship of financial impacts of the respective Corporate Sponsored Agreements and Manufacturing Supply Agreements. Examples include support of pricing reviews, annual failure-to-supply penalties, various true-ups, take-or-pay calculations, and other penalties or ancillary payments.
Finance Business Partnering support to the respective PGS-PC1 Operations Leads, driving accountability for financial performance and deliverables, as well as representing Finance as Point of Contact in external customer meetings and discussions, fielding issues and queries and ensuring robustness and timeliness of various data requests.
Applying understanding of complex financial flows and problem-solving skills; new business, special project, business case, cost optimization initiative, strategic investment decision, and other ad hoc support as required.
Interaction with various other internal stakeholders, e.g. Tax, Treasury, Controllers, GFS, GMX, and others as necessary

Proficient use of standard desktop tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in finance roles with successful experience as finance business partner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree (MBA or CPA)
Previous PGS finance experience preferred, as well as SAP proficiency, including understanding of the GMX process, new product set up and related Tax implications on product supply. Also experience with common forecasting and budgeting tools, e.g., Lighthouse.
