You'll support our period-end financial activities and reconciliation processes, gaining exposure to a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.       Key Tasks & Responsibilities

      • Banking – ownership of bank reconciliations, ensure all bank accounts are reconciled weekly, while working to resolve any issues/errors and investigation of reconciling items in a timely manner
      • Treasury – preparation of daily cash report to forecast short term cash needs and ensure proper funding of bank accounts
      • Employee Expenses – Maintaining accurate employee records in Concur and NetSuite and assistance with reviewing employee expense reports and recording in NetSuite.
      • Credit Cards – creation of reports to record purchases made via company credit cards, coding all transactions processed
      • Leases – maintenance of lease schedules and recording of monthly transactions
      • Sales Tax / VAT – preparation of sales tax / VAT returns in compliance with local tax regulations
      • Intercompany – process intercompany cross-charges and invoices; prepare monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
      • Creating and maintaining various ad hoc reports for internal use
      • Other duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • Degree or Diploma in accounting, economics, finance, or business administration
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills
      • Superior communication skills and attention to detail
      • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and technically savvy in other data systems an asset
      • Experience with NetSuite and/or Concur considered an asset
      • Strong prioritization and organization skills
      • Self-motivated and driven with ability to work well independently and within a team environment

      If the successful candidate lives within 50 km of our office in Waterloo, Ontario this will be a hybrid position (Monday and Friday – work from home, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – work onsite). If the successful candidate lives more than 50 km from our office in Waterloo this will be a remote position.
