- Lead, schedule and organize special cross country projects: work in coordination with the team members and managers to implement project timelines and ensure that milestones of the project are met. Develop and work with cross-functional teams coordinating various departments to complete projects considering external and internal deadlines.
- Budget Management: work with the team in completing the project, considering the budget, and overseeing the organization’s financial performance.
- Reporting and communication: prepare detailed technical reports on the impacts of the projects, presentation and communication of the status of the projects to management as required.
- Support for Strategic Decisions: provide financial information and analysis to support the company’s strategic decisions.
- Compliance and Internal Controls: ensure the special projects adheres to accounting and tax regulations, as well as internal control policies.
- Degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Previous experience of at least 5 years in management control, preferably in industrial contexts
- Proven experience working cross-functionally with teams such as procurement, operations, and others
- Excellent written and spoken English
- In-depth knowledge of cost analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Advanced knowledge of Office Automation, Excel, PowerPoint package
- Good understanding of accounting principles and both Italian and international tax regulations
- Knowledge of the accounting logic and IFRS accounting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report and present financial data to leadership
- Excellent problem-solving, time management skills, and ability to work under pressure

Position
Hydro Extrusion Italy, Ornago plant, is looking for an FINANCE PROJECT SPECIALIST who will report directly to the Regional Director South Europe Controller. The main mission of this position, based in Italy, will be to lead and coordinate projects in the finance area in Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as to support the different plant controllers.
