      Work Plan

      To learn and understand the inner working of the Bank’s Treasury department:

      • Managing and forecasting the Bank’s daily cash flow and liquidity needs
        1. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and investment requirements
      • Understand and manage the Bank’s investment products:
        1. Understand different types of fixed income investment: Treasury, Agency, MBS, CMO and Corporate notes
        2. Managing and quoting foreign exchange pricing and exposure
        3. Understanding the use of derivatives to mitigate future interest rate risk

      Assist with Treasury department daily/monthly and ad-hoc reports:

      • Support preparation of financial reports
      • Market research on the overall macroeconomic and industry trends
      • Assisting in liquidity management and forecasting
      • Participating in treasury-related meetings

      Gain proficiency in using financial system and platform:

      • Get familiar with Bloomberg Terminal and Spectrum FX platform
      • Learn the essential MS Excel shortcuts and macros
      • Perform data analysis via MS Access
      • Work on small projects or exercises that require the use of MS Excel for financial analysis and modeling


      COMPENSATION:

      • The base pay range for this position is USD $17 per hour.
