      As a Finance/Accounting Intern, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.

      Job Overview:

      The Deaconess Internship Program provides students with hands-on, career-specific experience for eight weeks during the summer. This is a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills, expand your professional network, and make a lasting impact on our company's mission and values.

      During the 8-week paid internship, participants will:

      • Have a chance to connect with and learn from company's leadership team throughout the course of your internship.
      • Have a mentor who's invested in your success, and will provide feedback and coaching.
      • As an Intern, you will work closely with the Finance/Accounting team and assist in various accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills in financial reporting, general ledger management, and other key accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and an eagerness to learn.

      What you will need:

      • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
      • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the related field or equivalent from an accredited school.
      • Previous coursework related to accounting is a plus.
