DHL Global Forwarding Qatar has an opening for a Financial Accountant where you will provide financial reporting, treasury control and balance sheet management. In this Financial Accountant position

• You will be supervising intercompany account reconciliation & solving queries mostly related to our invoices.
• You will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments.
• You will liaise with all departments in producing month end statement and reconciliation.
• You will ensure Internal cash advances are settled on time.
• You will liaise with external auditors.
• You will effectively manage Intercompany accounts both receivables and payables.
• You will coordination with Shared service center for back-office accounting.
• You will monitor Ageing payable & receivable reports.
• You will monitor and review long outstanding receivables & payables.
• You will develop cash flow planning.
• You will ensure the effective and proper management of petty cash.
• You will evaluate business opportunity and gather information for business development.
• You will evaluate DOE expenditure and perform cost analysis.
• You will undertake ad-hoc projects.
• You will prepare schedules for monthly financial statement.
• You will monitor month end closing reporting’s (CREST) including steering logic reconciliation.
• You will analysis of critical balance sheet account every month to avoid balance sheet risks.
• You will provide analysis of monthly actual financial results after closure of accounts and explain the variances.
• You will ensure that PTP - Unallocated and unapplied reports are in control[ Green report].
• You will be responsible for Bank and Petty cash reconciliation.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• University degree in accountancy, professional accountancy finalist, or equivalent.
• 1 – 5 years’ experience in accounting field preferable in related industry.
