      Job summary

      Barchester's finance team have a new opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their established team. This key role will be responsible for the co-ordination, control, and production of financial information for part of the group's financial accounting function. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of care homes and hospitals across the UK, this role is crucial to supporting the continued commercial success of more than 260 care homes across the country.

      Main duties of the job

      The Financial Accountant will be responsible for external statutory reporting and compliance including the preparation of statutory accounts for the whole group, monthly management reporting, liaising with external auditors, accounting for loans/leases and ensuring compliance with lenders and landlords, cash management with responsibility for the reporting on and monitoring of group cash, and group & Co VAT Returns. They will also be responsible for inter-company and bank accounts reconciliations.

      Job responsibilities

      Barchester's finance team have a new opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our established team. This key role will be responsible for the co-ordination, control, and production of financial information for part of the group's financial accounting function.

      With a rapidly expanding portfolio of care homes and hospitals across the UK, this role is key to supporting the continued commercial success of more than 260 care homes across the country.

      This is a permanent position, based in Inverness. This is a part time position, for 22.5 hours per week. We are offering an impressive rewards and benefits package, including:
