- Analyze errors to identify the cause and determine corrective action(s) related to remittances, loan repayment, transfers, loans, withdrawals, and expenses.
- Interpret error messages and apply documented error resolution.
- Conduct error analysis to research the nature of errors and identify appropriate resolutions.
- Communicate procedural recommendations and/or technology improvements to avoid future errors.
- Work with internal customers to obtain client notifications of the error approval of correction strategy.
- Provide internal customers with basic system advice and direction regarding processes and procedures.
- Perform self-quality checks, and peer/management quality checks.
- Assist with correction projects.
- Adhere to PARIS system security standards to make table updates.
- Research and process social security number corrections.
- Research and facilitate correction process for dividend rate and unit value rate updates as requested by Accounting.
- Handle nonsufficient fund (NSF) check review and processing steps. Make recommendations for handling subsequent affected transactions.
- Research and review to determine correction steps handle by other internal teams are handled correctly.
- Associate’s degree in accounting or business field, or equivalent education/experience
- Attention to detail to follow established procedures
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to research and resolve financial errors
- Written/oral communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet correction deadlines
- Proficiency using MS Office tools.
- Retirement, insurance, or financial industry experience.
- Accounting experience or IT/database experience
- Experience using Paris 3 software.
- Knowledge of IRS regulations related to pension.
- Understanding of financial transactions handled by retirement operations (e.g. teams in remittance, processing, call center, fund change, client relationship).
- Experience using mainframe systems.
- Knowledge of SQL queries.

Job Description Summary
Research, plan, and execute financial transaction corrections at the plan or participant level for retirement plans. Determine the nature of errors and provide consultation and recommendations for correction and error avoidance. The Salary for this position generally ranges between $41,000 - $45,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
