      Job Title: Financial Administrator

      Job Description

      This team is responsible for managing the claim system for out-of-pocket expenses, providing helpdesk support, and ensuring transparency in travel and expense disclosure reporting.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage and process claim forms for out-of-pocket expenses.
      • Validate and action forms, making necessary changes in banking systems.
      • Provide helpdesk support via email and phone.
      • Extract, vet, and disclose data for travel and expense reporting on public sites.
      • Handle a high volume of data entry and financial requests (several hundred to a thousand per week).

      Essential Skills

      • 6 months of Finance Experience: Proficient in processing financial information, reconciliation of data, system integration and accounting entries.
      • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
      • Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Strong skills in Outlook and Excel (handling large volumes of data, pivots, formulas, VLOOKUPs), and Word.
      • Previous experience in a helpdesk environment, processing requests.
      • Knowledge of debit, credit, banking, accounts receivable, billing, and payments.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Concur.
      • Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
      • SAP ERP experience.
      • Experience with data analysis and system reconciliation.
      • Experience working in large, complex environments (shared service centres, publicly traded companies).
      • Ability to understand and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
      • Ability to tailor communication to the audience.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $26.39 - $32.31/hr.

      This is a fully onsite position in Edmonton,AB.
