      The Financial Aid Certification Processor position is a full-time employment position reports to the Financial Services Manager. The Financial Services Processor analyzes students’ financial aid documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and awards the appropriate funding to students.

      The application window is anticipated to close 4/18/2025.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Determine financial aid eligibility on a student-by-student basis following standard operation procedures.
      • Award funding to students based on standard operating procedures.
      • Follow all company policies and procedures.
      • Maintain a working knowledge of Federal, State and Institutional Policies governing Title IV student aid programs.
      • Review the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) to determine current student eligibility.
      • Review the Common Originations and Disbursement System (COD) to determine current student eligibility.
      • All other duties as assigned.

      Knowlege, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Exceptional attention to detail.
      • Critical thinker.
      • Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and apply those concepts to individual situations.
      • Excellent math skills.
      • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
      • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
      • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in an educational setting, specifically Financial Aid or finance background.

      Rate of Pay: $18.15 - $22.69

      Compensation Type: Hourly at 1.0 full-time equivalen ce (FTE)

      Grade: 4

      In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also in c ludes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures .
