      The Johns Hopkins Surgery Center Series is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to support the financial operations and strategic decision-making of the Surgery Center Series. This role involves combining accounting expertise with analytical skills to ensure financial accuracy and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

      Position Summary:

      Analyze and interpret financial data to develop actionable insights and provide recommendations to management for operational and financial decision-making.

      Record financial transactions and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

      Reconcile the balance sheet and Profit and Loss accounts and investigate variances to ensure financial integrity.

      Assist in the production of timely and accurate monthly GAAP financial reporting packages.

      Support the preparation of schedules for audits, financial surveys, and special projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

      Contribute to the development and preparation of the annual budget, incorporating financial forecasts and analysis.

      Build and maintain analytical models to identify opportunities for reimbursement maximization and other financial efficiencies.

      Monitor financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks and opportunities, enhancing the financial effectiveness of the Surgery Center Series.

      This position offers the opportunity to apply both financial and analytical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the financial success and strategic growth of the Surgery Center Series.

      Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or another related field.

      Work Experience: Requires a minimum of two years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.

      Salary Range: $26.12/hour - $43.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
