Company Description
Aspen Hospitality, a division of Aspen One, develops, owns, and operates a growing portfolio of luxury and upper-scale hotels, private clubs, and branded residential properties under The Nell and Limelight brands. This includes The Little Nell, Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond ski-in/ski-out hotel and its affiliated Residences located at the base of Aspen Mountain, as well as a new Nell property currently in development at Rockefeller Center in New York City.
Aspen Hospitality’s Limelight hotels are located across Colorado, with locations in Aspen, Snowmass, and Denver, and in Ketchum, Idaho. Two new Limelight hotels will also open in 2025 in Boulder, Colorado and Mammoth, California. Job Description
Position Summary
The Financial Analyst identifies trends and opportunities within the company to provide data-driven insights across the Hospitality division. This role is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, documentation of processes, and the development of reports and presentations. The Financial Analyst has a natural analytical mindset and can distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights. This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance.The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

• Develop and deliver detailed financial analyses and reporting packages to support communication of results to senior Finance and Operations leadership
• Provide strategic business recommendations through data-driven analysis, including benchmarking, ROI assessments, and performance reviews
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with operational leaders and cross-functional teams
• Translate business trends and operational changes into forward-looking financial impact analyses
• Support and educate operational leaders to strengthen business acumen and foster accountability
• Assist with leading core FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and produce reports covering statistical analysis, economic trends, industry benchmarking, competitive landscape reviews, and pricing scenarios
• Other duties as assignedQualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business finance, financial planning, or analysis; experience in hospitality finance strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Proficient in core FP&A processes; annual budgeting, strategic planning, and executive reporting
• Knowledge of hotel or resort operations including food & beverage, retail, and hospitality operations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience in financial modeling, including discounted cash flows, sensitivity analyses, and budgets
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and PowerPivot
• Understanding of relational databases
• Understanding of SQL, VBA, Python or similar programming languages a plus
• Proficient in Financial and Point of Sale systems; JD Edwards, ProfitSword, Spreadsheet Server, or Property Management software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and concepts
• Ability to work with and build relationships with employees at all levels throughout the Company
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without sacrificing qualityAdditional Information
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)Job Benefits
