      • B.A./B.S./B.B.A./Masters in Finance or Accounting, with a graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024
      • Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analytical abilities
      • Strong financial analysis, modeling and valuation skills
      • Must have a fundamental understanding of financial valuation and lost profits theory, methodologies, and applications
      • Must have strong knowledge of Excel
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Must have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
      • Exceptional work ethic is crucial

      Overview

      Houlihan Lokey’s Dispute Resolution Consulting (“DRC”) practice is led by financial experts who bring unique value to counsel and their clients on valuation and accounting/forensic matters related to disputes in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Our services include case assessment, strategy design, complex financial modeling, damage theory formulation, settlement assistance, and expert witness testimony in a variety of legal matters.

      Responsibilities

      As a Financial Analyst in the DRC practice, you will play a key role on our engagement teams, which typically comprise at least one Managing Director/Director, Vice President, Associate, and one or more Financial Analysts. As a Financial Analyst in our DRC practice, your primary activities will include constructing and reviewing valuation, lost profits/business damages, and other financial models; performing financial statement analysis; performing forensic accounting analysis; performing economic, industry, and other types of research; participation in client and team meetings; designing and drafting deliverables and work product; and presenting analyses and conclusions internally to review committees.

      Qualified candidates will have additional accountability for the development of project approach, oversight, methodologies, and analytical frameworks, and have incremental client visibility and responsibilities, including marketing initiatives and business development.

      Salary Range

      Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:

      $70,000.00-$125,000.00
