      Job Description

      We are looking for a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our growing North American team. Reporting to the Director FP&A, you will be a key member of the finance team working to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability through planning, decision support and management reporting. You will partner closely with the Controllership and Sales teams, providing perspectives and decision support services.

      Please note: this role will require flexible hours during key periods on a monthly basis to meet business needs.

      Key Role & Responsibilities:

      • Prepare/review calculations for variable pay compensation schemes
      • Advanced Excel skills such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting to enhance the ability to analyze and visualize data effectively
      • Develop and maintain Looker (or similar BI tools) dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance, KPI’s, and business trends
      • Strong PowerPoint skills such as formatting, layouts, and themes to show clear objective and structure for impactful presentations
      • Work with internal teams to support business decisions, review monthly results and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
      • Collaborate with FP&A team members to enhance total company reporting & develop FP&A maturity
      • Partner with controllership to reconcile financial data, ensure accuracy, and support month end close processes
      • Assist in the preparation of the regional budget and variance analysis
      • Provide ad-hoc analysis as required

      Qualifications

      What you bring:

      • Desire to focus on the details and question financial analysis results
      • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
      • Proficiency with Looker, Jedox, or similar BI tools
      • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL a plus
      • Strong understanding of accounting principles
      • Curious and self-starting attitude with ability to think fast and prioritize multiple tasks
      • Enjoy working in a team environment with the ability to work independently
      • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant area from a recognized institution; a CPA, CFA or working towards is an asset
      • 4-6 years of progressive professional experience in Finance related functions
      • Track record of delivering results in past roles
      • Enjoy continually learning on the job

      The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 USD. Exact salary offered will be dependent on multiple factors including level of experience, job-related knowledge, skills, work location, etc. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a variable bonus and benefits.

      We also offer a flexible hybrid working model where employees typically work 1-2 days from one of our North American offices (San Francisco, Toronto or Edmonton).
