      Jabil has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in San Jose, CA!

      How will you make an impact?

      In this role, you will provide complex financial and business-related analysis and research for financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment.

      What will you do?

      • Play a proactive role in providing financial advice and assistance on business issues including cost-center and profit-center performance variances.
      • Drive improvement in Core Operating Income and working capital metrics (AP Days, DSO, DII). Understand key drivers of both income and working capital to help maximize benefits to Jabil.
      • Actively engage and contribute to current quarter operating metrics and also in long term planning & strategy.
      • Working closely with the Plant Finance Controller and Operational teams review operational metrics and KPIs to ensure manufacturing performance is measured appropriately for each respective business and product group.
      • Monitor initiatives in support of the achievement of the Long-Term Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
      • Constantly seeking to value-add to current processes, information systems, and business growth
      • Support the Business Planning, budgeting/ forecasting, and actual financial performance process.
      • Identify and challenge cost structures providing modeling support to the business and operational teams in identifying and delivering opportunities to reduce the cost.
      • Compute and prepare data for journal entries, and review general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness.
      • Accumulate and analyze information for cost allocations in preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports, and taxes.
      • Lead the Weekly Indicator meetings with Business Unit Managers, Operation Director, and Controller to review and analyze actual vs. forecast performance.
      • Review and input succinct explanations for monthly P&L variance between actual and forecast amounts.
      • Coordinate with other departments in the preparation of special analyses and reports.
      • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
      • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
      • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      How will you get here?

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent mix experience and experience

      Experience:

      • 3 years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role
      • Demonstrated experience influencing business decisions using analytics
      • Proficient in the use of MS office with advance skills in Excel
      • Basic knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
      • SAP and TM1 knowledge highly preferred

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

      • Highly collaborative and frequent interaction with Business and operational groups in addition to other functional groups across finance.
      • Provide financial training and support to BUMS, Functional, and Ops Managers as required with a focus on financial targets, metrics, and variance understanding and analysis.
      • Ensure all aspects of the business are being reviewed to prevent liability exposure, to ensure all costs are being recovered from customers, and to eliminate cost gaps.
      • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, make quick and effective decisions, and direct others.
      • Excellent analytical skills to understand business drivers and interpret financial results.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, get key messages across succinctly, and work with others.
      • Proven track record in demonstrating accountability and ownership, proactive approach.
      • Strong influencing skills to persuade management that your conclusions are correct and obtain their buy-in.
      • Strong reporting skills, display key information, and convey messages, concisely, and with impact.

      The pay range for this role is $81,884 - $147,391. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
