Review and analyze financial models in Salesforce to drive revenue and profitability. Analyses include new and renewal property contract evaluation, Cox Communities Product offerings and other growth/optimization initiatives
Develop offline financial models when needed. May include revenue and cost forecasting, calculations of rate of return and cash flows. Additional ad-hoc analysis based on customer need.
Support ongoing “Rebuild Finance Foundation” projects to provide appropriate support to Sales and Business Operations, including preparation of Communities 10-Yr P&L, ongoing Salesforce development plan and periodic model assumptions and system updates, creation of Reporting function, and establishing a cadence to evaluate large projects.
Strong consultative skills to support Regions Sales Directors and Account Executives, and comfort level navigating in a matrix environment. Expected to review and present reports/business cases with executive leadership.
This role requires a self-starter and a strong willingness to learn.
Performs financials analysis - Develops financial and operational analyses and identifies emerging trends. May include cost analysis, financial and expense performance comparisons, calculations of rate of return and cash flows. Additional ad-hoc analysis based on customer need.
Performs data analysis - Gathers and compiles data used for identifying complex business trends/dynamic and provides recommendations. Develop construct to access and manipulate data from company data systems and sources.
Performs modeling - Conceptualizes, prepares and presents models, analyses and recommendations.
Provide financial/operational consultative services - Recommends and facilitates changes; analyzes and reviews data and resolves questions and/or problems (collaborative partnerships)
Monitor and optimize business processes - Provides and reviews data to ensure both compliance and effectiveness of complex operational and financial processes, identifying anomalies and making recommendations.
Project Management – Facilitate partnership, coordinates stakeholder communication, and completes assignments to support project objectives
Ad Hoc Projects –Various analysis to help support the business
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting with 2+ years of finance experience include a strong focus in Financial Planning and Analysis. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience. Non-degreed candidates must have 8+ years of experience
Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work well under pressure with last minute requests and tight deadlines
Strong verbal communication
Have interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Teamwork is important in this job
Experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one’s own work
Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations
Experience with Salesforce.com desirable but not a must
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results
Solid analytical and research capabilities
Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description
