- Conduct data analysis, interpretation, and reporting for system financial performance.
- Support the preparation of pro formas and financial models using historical, comparative, and projection data.
- Analyze trends and patterns in complex data sets to support outcome-based decision making.
- Assist with monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret financial and operational data accurately.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 0-3 years in financial analysis or related roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with relational databases, financial modeling, or operational modeling is a plus.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data accurately.

The Financial Analyst supports IU Health’s system financial team by performing data analysis, reporting, and modeling to inform decision-making. This role involves preparing both routine and ad hoc reports, developing pro formas based on historical and projected data, and identifying trends within complex data sets with high accuracy. The analyst plays a key role in translating data into actionable insights that support operational and strategic outcomes.
